STUDENT VISAS
Foreign nationals who wish to pursue full-time academic or vocational studies within the United States may be eligible for two nonimmigrant categories:
F visa Applies to foreign nationals seeking to enter the U.S. to pursue full-time academic studies within the U.S. (inclusive of spouses and children of such foreign nationals who wish to accompany them):
- F-1 – Academic Students
- F-2 – Spouses and children of F-1
- F-3 Canadian or Mexican national academic commuter students

M Visa Applies to foreign nationals seeking to enter the U.S. to pursue full-time vocational studies within the U.S. (inclusive of spouses and children of such foreign nationals who wish to accompany them):
- M-1 – Vocational students
- M-2 – Spouses and children of M1
- M-3- Canadian or Mexican national vocational commuter students

VISITOR VISAS
Foreign nationals who wish to visit the U.S. temporarily for business or pleasure may utilize one of the following visas:.
B-1 Visas
This temporary/nonimmigrant visa classification allows foreign nationals to temporarily enter the U.S. to conduct activities of a commercial or professional nature, such as consult with business associates, negotiate a contract, or attend a business conference.
B-2 Visas This temporary/nonimmigrant visa classification allows foreign nationals to enter the U.S. as tourists.
