



Nadia Deans Kalata is an associate of Garvish Immigration Law Group, LLC. Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Ms. Deans Kalata is a citizen of both Jamaica and Trinidad. Ms. Deans Kalata developed her passion for immigration law through her own personal experience with the immigration process in the United States. As a result, she has a unique perspective and understanding of her clients’ concerns and the challenges they face when dealing with the U.S. immigration system.
Ms. Deans Kalata has been practicing immigration law since 2006. She assists corporate and individual clients to obtain non-immigrant visas as well as lawful permanent residence in the U.S. through employment and family based petitions. Ms. Deans Kalata is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She devotes substantial time to the provision of Pro Bono immigration assistance to immigrants in our community. While at Emory School of Law, Ms. Deans Kalata served as a Managing Editor of the Emory International Law Review.
